Roma — Potsdamer Platz 274/365

Funny thing to see the whole Mexican community at the cinema, as there are only very few screenings planned in Berlin. A good movie about a daily life in Mexico, as seen from the point of view of those women who aren’t seen but, as the movie shows, loved as part of the family. Great photography, slow rhythm, two strong women and two bastards. Great recreation of the early 1970s in Mexico. I’m not into melodramatic soap operas, so Gravity touched me deeper and impressed me more. Non-Mexicans will find it way more interesting.
