One year ago, I visited a retrospective of Marina Abramović's work in Belgrade. It was the Long Night of the Galleries and Museums, the Center for Young People was very full, there was a performance ongoing in the staircase, but I couldn't recognize the value of her work, so I went out a bit disappointed.
Then, there was this "experience the artist"-exhibition at the MOMA, and I was again a bit skeptical. Alinka told me about her experience there, sitting in front of Marina, but I still was not ready to praise it.
Till now, when I saw this pics by Marco Anelli (via Toxico Cultura). The first portrait corresponds to the gallery "Hotties", the rest to "Marina made my cry".
