Emily Dickinson meets photography

Emily Dickinson wrote this pretty poem:

Water, is taught by thirst.
Land —by the Oceans passed.
Transport —by throe—
Peace —by its battles told—
Love, by Memorial Mold—
Birds, by the Snow.

Michael Jang: Beauty is taught by ugliness.

 Garry Winogrand: Help by necessity.

 Garry Winogrand: Charity by poverty.

Garry Winogrand: Color by whiteness.
